Escrow Supervisor (On-site)

The Supervisor - Escrow directs the day-to-day operations of the Escrow Analysis functions within the Loan Administration Department. This includes the responsibility for ensuring the timely processing of bulk analysis batches, exception reporting, monitor training of staff; as well as being the internal liaison between the Tax, Insurance, and Mortgage Insurance groups.
Responsibilities
- Oversees execution of the bulk analysis batch processing, including managing timely responses from the Tax, Insurance, and PMI teams.
- Develop team goals and meet with associates monthly to discuss progress on goals, workflow performance, coaching, and adherence to department expectations.
- Execute and monitor report volumes for external clients, investors, and regulatory entities.
- Assist with identifying, testing, and implementing escrow analysis system enhancements.
- Create and maintain policies and procedures for team functions.
- Perform ad hoc queries as necessary with management approval.
- Solves problems rapidly and cost-effectively with minimal disruption.
- Process requests received from upper management, clients, or other departments.
- Assist the manager with exception reporting, auditing, control log, and providing feedback on associate performance.
- Interpret data in a variety of formats, such as Excel formula output, charts, and SQL Server data.
- Monitor work volumes and adjust work types or production to meet department needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent mortgage experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- 6+ years residential mortgage loan servicing experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience training team members.
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience with supervising a team preferred.
Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible to changing priorities, project scopes, and deadlines at any given time.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills as well as ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to participate and lead meetings with both internal and external parties.
- Ability to make sound decisions based upon department, company policies, procedures, knowledge, and experience.
- Advanced understanding of SQL data warehouse environments and OnBase imaging system.
