The Escrow Officer role is part of a dynamic, fast-paced team focused on customer service and closing deals. This position plays a key role in making the dream of home ownership a reality.
Responsibilities
- Determine requirements for real estate escrow transactions
- Act as a neutral liaison between parties, adhering to company policy and monitoring risks
- Ensure proper accounting and disbursement of funds according to contract terms and company policy
- Prepare and distribute final closing statements and title documents
- Examine property titles, mortgages, and trust deeds
Requirements
- 2-4 years of escrow-related experience
- Experience directly handling escrow transactions
- Valid Licensing/Certification as required by applicable state
- High school diploma or equivalent
Qualifications
- Openness to new technology and proprietary programs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to solve problems and navigate internal and external resources
- Comfortable guiding and supporting future talent
- Knowledge of MS Office suite and ability to adapt to new software applications
