Escrow Assistant in office

About the Role

Join First American's Direct division in Grass Valley, CA, as an Escrow Assistant. In this role, you’ll provide critical administrative and customer support to our Escrow team, helping make the dream of homeownership a reality. We’re seeking someone with drive and potential to grow within our organization, contributing to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the escrow process, including opening orders, inputting closing statement information, preparing documents for closing, handling disbursements, and follow-up.
• Communicate regularly with customers during the escrow process flow.
• Interpret various agreements as they relate to escrow closings.
• Work with a variety of technologies to enable escrow transactions and ensure a phenomenal customer experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of escrow-related experience preferred.

Pay

Pay Range: $20.31 - $27.09 Hourly. This range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay at the time of posting, based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements, and geographic location.
