About the Role

Ancillary to the closing process, the Escrow Assistant supports the Anchorage escrow team in providing administrative and transaction support to Escrow Officers. This includes preparing files, gathering information, coordinating documents, communicating with clients and partners, and supporting timely, accurate closings.

Responsibilities

  • Open and maintain escrow files
  • Assist with document preparation and file organization
  • Communicate with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and internal teams
  • Collect, review, and track required documents and information
  • Help coordinate signing appointments and closing timelines
  • Aid in title, lender, and escrow requirements
  • Support funding, recording, and post-closing activities
  • Maintain accurate records and follow company procedures
  • Provide friendly, professional service to clients and partners
  • Help the team stay organized, responsive, and deadline-focused

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous escrow, title, mortgage, real estate, banking, administrative, or customer service experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Professional, client-focused approach. Comfort working with confidential information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems. Team-oriented mindset and willingness to jump in where needed.
