About the role
At First Financial Bank, accuracy, consistency, and service matter at every stage of the customer experience. As an Escrow Administration Clerk, you’ll play an important role in supporting loan servicing operations by helping manage escrow processing, insurance tracking, and payment administration activities.
Responsibilities
- Process escrow activities: Support loan escrow transactions, escrow analysis reviews, and related servicing activities.
- Track insurance requirements: Monitor commercial and residential hazard and flood insurance coverage and maintain accurate records.
- Post transactions: Process payment postings and department general ledger transactions accurately and timely.
- Aid customers: Respond to customer inquiries related to escrow accounts, insurance tracking, and servicing questions.
- Maintain records and reporting: Update insurance information within servicing systems and maintain departmental records and reports.
- Research account activity: Analyze and review escrow-related reports to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Understanding of escrow processing and financial institution documentation procedures preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- 10-key calculator and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and as part of a team
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 75% of an eight (8) hour workday
- Ability to review information and details at close range (within a few feet)
