Escrow Accounting Representative - Wire Team (Independence Title - Main Office)

About the role

Independence Title in Austin, TX (Shepherd Mountain Cove/Main Office), a wholly owned subsidiary of Anywhere Integrated Services, is seeking a candidate for Escrow Accounting Representative (Wire Team). Anywhere Integrated Services is a full-service title, settlement, underwriting and vendor management services company serving real estate companies, affinity groups, corporations and financial institutions in support of residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Responsibilities

• Initiating outgoing wire fund transfers for Escrow branches and maintaining communication with Escrow teams throughout the day
• Performing various escrow accounting duties, working with multiple escrow accounting and banking platforms, account reconciling, and providing support for the escrow teams overall
• Performing backup coverage of Receptionist responsibilities when necessary (duties include answering phones, greeting visitors, lobby set-up, and processing deliveries and mail)

Qualifications

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Experience in escrow accounting/banking industry
• Microsoft Suite proficient
• Must be available to work 8am – 5pm shift, Monday through Friday, onsite

• Well-organized with strong attention to detail and good working knowledge of numbers
• Must work well in a fast paced environment and in very tight timeframes
• Must be a team player and supportive of other team members
• Needs to possess good communication skills, both verbal and written
