Escalation Analyst
About the role
We are seeking to add a skilled Escalations Analyst to our Regulatory & Compliance team. This role involves resolving up to 15 tickets/cases daily, primarily through Salesforce or the CFPB portal. Cases are distributed to each analyst’s queue.
Responsibilities
- Takes a look at disputes and ensures consumers provide sufficient details. Contacts consumers to gather additional information if needed.
- Processes cases once all information is received or escalates to the legal team for further review.
- Initiates disputes and drafts a detailed timeline and response for compliance approval.
- Reviews complaints and determines whether disputes should be handled internally or sent to external parties like Fair Information Practice (FIP), Credit Bureau, or internal colleagues.
- Utilizes databases (MBSI, Salesforce) to enter disputes and PII and ensures timely completion of disputes meeting or exceeding the SLA set by FCRA.
- Manages reports for accuracy and makes final decisions on which reports are sent to consumers.
- Adheres to strict guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding various disputes.
Requirements
This is an intermediate-level contract position based in Alpharetta, GA. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
