ERP Reporting and Analytics Solution Architect, Accounting Transformation Group
About the role
maybe combine description and day in the life and about the team? But we need sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay. Could also include About The Team as part of About the role? The instruction: use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we should follow those headings exactly. So we need sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay. Possibly also include About The Team under About the role? Could embed within About the role paragraph.
We must not repeat job title as heading.
We need to preserve all substantive information. So we need to include details from description, responsibilities, day in the life, about the team, basic qualifications, preferred qualifications, benefits, pay.
We need to avoid boilerplate: EEO, equal opportunity, scam warning, legal, etc. Also remove duplicated lines, cookie/navigation.
We must not include Job ID.
Now craft HTML.
We'll produce:
About the role
Amazon is seeking an experienced ERP Reporting and Analytics Solution Architect to define and lead the reporting, analytics, and financial-data architecture for a large-scale transformation of Amazon’s Finance ERP platform. This role sits at the intersection of Accounting, Finance, Data, Product, Solution Architecture, and Engineering. The architect will translate complex financial reporting requirements into a scalable architecture spanning operational reporting, embedded analytics, management reporting, statutory reporting, self-service analytics, enterprise data products, and downstream data consumption. The solution landscape may include SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, CDS views, Fiori analytical applications, SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office, SAP Databricks, and enterprise reporting and data platforms. The successful candidate will define how financial data is modeled, governed, transformed, published, and consumed across the reporting ecosystem, partnering with Accounting, Controllership, Finance, ERP Product, Data Governance, Engineering, SAP, and implementation partners to establish architecture standards, evaluate reporting tools, define semantic models, and guide solutions through design, build, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. Understanding accounting structures, hierarchies, currencies, consolidation requirements, reporting dimensions, data latency, security, and performance expectations is essential to create an integrated and maintainable reporting architecture.
A typical day may involve selecting the right platform for a reporting requirement, reviewing a financial data model, resolving reconciliation or performance issues, or defining how SAP data should be published downstream, while partnering with SAP, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to make design decisions, manage dependencies, and simplify the reporting landscape. The architect will also communicate architecture trade-offs, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders.
The Accounting Transformation Group drives initiatives that modernize accounting processes, strengthen controllership, and enable scalable growth across Amazon, operating at the intersection of Accounting, Finance, Product, Solution Architecture, Data, and technology to build scalable financial capabilities.
