ERP Configuration Analyst
About the role
INVISTA is seeking an ERP Configuration Analyst to join our team that partners with our Source-to-Pay capability in support of the Procure to Pay business processes. As we continue to transform our Source-to-Pay capability, you will drive, challenge, and lead continuous improvement in the processes and technologies that build stable, reliable business operations. This role enables the business to effectively source, procure, and pay for goods and services by applying data and digital transformation to drive insights and profitable decisions while reducing complexity in the user experience. You will also provide executional support for global priorities and identify process enhancements. As part of a global team, strong communication skills, a contribution mindset, adaptability, and relationship-building are essential.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business challenges and requirements to identify effective solutions, document business processes and functional requirements, create process flows and decision diagrams, and partner with technical teams to develop and implement technical solutions.
- Design, configure, test, implement, support, and administer Source to Pay applications, including SAP Ariba (Buying & Invoicing), SAP CIG, OpenText VIM, and Track.
- Troubleshoot integrations with SAP ECC and other enterprise systems to ensure reliable performance.
- Develop deep expertise in the end-to-end procurement lifecycle (Source > Contract > Purchase > Invoice > Pay) and leverage that knowledge to optimize processes, applications, and user experiences across Source to Pay platforms.
- Evaluate the impact of releases, patches, integrations, and system updates; conduct testing and validation activities; communicate changes to stakeholders; and maintain system documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with business partners, vendors, and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, resolve technical and business challenges, and deliver solutions that create long-term value across the Source to Pay process.
- Support compliance, governance, and stewardship objectives by ensuring Source to Pay systems, controls, and documentation meet audit, regulatory, and business requirements.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities through root cause analysis, automation, self-service enablement, process simplification, and modernization of systems and technologies.
Requirements
- Experience using data to understand business needs, efficiently converting requests into actionable deliverables, and solving business needs while using good economic thinking.
- Experience supporting business applications, enterprise systems, procurement technologies, or business process improvement initiatives.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into functional solutions, process improvements, or system enhancements.
- Experience partnering with business stakeholders, technical teams, and/or third-party vendors to deliver solutions and resolve business challenges.
- Experience testing system enhancements, validating business requirements, or supporting software releases and deployments.
Qualifications
What will put you ahead:
- Previous Source-to-Pay (S2P) or Procurement business processes experience.
- Experience with SAP ECC configurations.
- Experience with SAP Business Network configurations (Sourcing and Contracts, Buying and Invoicing, Ariba Guided Buying, CIG).
- Experience with OpenText VIM.
- Experience with TRACK.
- Experience managing IT/Software initiatives and projects (gathering and working through requirements, solution design, focusing on agile and iterative deliverables).
- Experience working in Agile and Lean work processes.
