They are seeking a Business Systems Lead – ERP & Business Applications to support and optimize their ERP environment, improve business processes, and develop reporting and analytics solutions that drive better decision-making. This is a highly visible role that will partner with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales, Quality, Finance, and executive leadership. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on ERP experience within a manufacturing environment, strong SQL capabilities, and the ability to translate business needs into practical technology and process improvements.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary functional resource for the company's ERP system and related business applications, providing day-to-day support across multiple departmentsTroubleshoot ERP and business application issues while partnering with IT, business users, and third-party vendors to drive timely resolutionAnalyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, automation, and system optimizationSupport manufacturing processes including production planning, inventory management, purchasing, order management, supply chain, and financial operationsDevelop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, reports, dashboards, and other reporting solutionsExtract and analyze business data to support operational and executive decision-makingDevelop KPIs and dashboards using SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar business intelligence toolsParticipate in ERP upgrades, enhancements, testing, implementations, and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure data integrity, system reliability, and effective system performanceProvide ERP training and support to end users and create documentation, SOPs, and training materialsPartner with cross-functional teams to identify system improvements and translate business requirements into actionable solutionsRequired Skills & Qualifications Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered.3–7+ years of experience supporting ERP systems, business applications, or business systems analysisManufacturing industry experience is required, with a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and workflowsStrong SQL skills, including writing queries, extracting data, analyzing information, and developing reportsUnderstanding of core manufacturing processes such as MRP, inventory, production planning, purchasing, order management, or supply chainExperience partnering with cross-functional business teams to improve processes and systemsAdvanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and complex formulasStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferred Skills & Qualifications Nice-to-have skills that would make a candidate more competitive but are not required.Experience with a major ERP platform such as Epicor, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, JD Edwards, NetSuite, Plex, or similarExperience with Power BI, SSRS, or other business intelligence/reporting toolsExperience developing manufacturing KPIs, dashboards, and operational reportingExperience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, or system optimization initiativesExperience with EDI, APIs, or other system integrationsExperience working in a multi-site manufacturing environmentExperience creating process documentation, SOPs, and end-user training materials#TECH
