CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for an ERP Business Systems Analyst within our Intel sector, helping maintain and optimize mission-critical financial management capabilities in Springfield, VA.
Responsibilities
- Map, analyze, and document “as is” and “to be” financial system business processes, identifying efficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Support recurring updates to the Business Process Repository, ensuring workflows, diagrams, and process steps remain current and accurate.
- Partner with functional teams to gather requirements, translate operational needs, and validate feasibility within ERP functionality.
- Produce clear, comprehensive documentation including SOPs, process guides, configuration notes, workflow maps, and training materials.
- Assist with configuration changes, regression checks, and validation activities tied to system enhancements.
- Collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts to ensure business process changes are reflected in knowledge articles and end-user guidance.
- Support planning, stakeholder coordination, and governance activities associated with business process changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph.
- 3–5+ years of hands-on ERP/financial system functional experience.
- Strong understanding of financial business processes, ERP workflows, and functional dependencies.
- Experience developing process documentation, business rules, and SOPs.
- Familiarity with UAT, regression testing, and validation of ERP functional changes.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into system-ready specifications.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph (desired).
- Experience with enterprise ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Momentum, etc.).
- Knowledge of Change Management and Release Management practices.
- Exposure to workflow automation tools or ERP native configuration utilities.
- Strong organizational skills for managing documentation, change tracking, and multiple concurrent process updates.
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 – $153,300.00.
