ERP Analyst | Infor Payroll Analyst
This is a regular full-time position working 80 hours every two weeks on a day shift. The role is offered as remote, though remote work eligibility may be restricted for candidates residing in certain states due to labor law regulations and business requirements.
Pay
The base hiring salary range for this position is $86,763.34 – $130,145.01, with a midpoint of $108,454.18. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors such as skills and experience. This range is one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered.
About the role
An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Analyst is responsible for managing, configuring, supporting, and improving the company's ERP systems to ensure seamless operations across departments. This role plays a critical part in integrating business functions such as finance, HR, supply chain, and manufacturing through a centralized system. The ERP Analyst will work closely with various departments to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, provide training, and contribute to system upgrades and implementations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily ERP system functions, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support to end users, addressing system-related issues and ensuring user satisfaction.
- Develop, implement, and maintain system security and backup procedures.
- Configure ERP modules to align with business requirements and workflows.
- Work with IT teams and external vendors to customize ERP functionalities and integrate third-party applications.
- Collaborate with departments (Finance, HR, Inventory, etc.) to understand processes and identify areas where the ERP can enhance efficiency.
- Recommend and implement solutions to optimize system performance and business processes.
- Provide training to end users on the ERP system, creating user manuals and guides.
- Document system changes, processes, and procedures for future reference.
- Coordinate and test ERP upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new ERP solutions or tools when necessary.
- Ensure accurate data entry and system updates to maintain data integrity.
- Develop and run ad-hoc and regular reports to help management with data-driven decision-making.
- Support the implementation of new ERP modules or enhancements.
- Manage small ERP-related projects, including setting timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Strong understanding of business processes and how they integrate into an ERP system.
- Knowledge of SQL, database management, and basic programming or scripting skills is a plus.
- Experience in troubleshooting and solving technical issues related to ERP systems.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- ERP certification (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Experience with ERP system migrations or implementations.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies for project management.
