Erosion and Sediment Control/Stormwater Management Inspector

Responsibilities

- Perform pre-construction activities including review of site, attend pre-construction conferences, check construction stakeout, reviews contractor construction schedule - Monitor Erosion and Sediment Control and Stormwater Management operations to ensure compliance with plans, contract terms, specifications, codes and ordinances - Prepare and maintain comprehensive project records including daily reports, diaries, materials notebooks, as-built plans, pay quantity records and monthly estimates

Requirements

- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with Erosion & Sediment Control construction/inspection - Possession of the MDE Responsible Personnel Certification is required - Possession of SHA Yellow Card is required - Experience working as a Code Enforcement Inspector a plus - Ability to read and interpret project plans and contract specifications - Knowledge of inspection methods and techniques - Good verbal/writing communication skills and ability to work in a team environment with associates, contractors, developers and engineers

Pay

- Non-exempt position with the potential of overtime pay (time and a half) - Expected base salary range: $28.00 per hour to $36.00 per hour - Monthly cell phone allowance provided
