Erector

Essential Duties

• Utilize basic hand tools such as wrenches, impact guns, electric and air operated hand tools.
• Utilize and understand rolling equipment, hydro-swage equipment, manual torque wrenches, pressure gauges, fluid systems and hydraulic equipment.
• Assemble an assortment of products using various raw materials, tools and their own hands.
• Responsible for reading and understanding work instructions and engineering specifications.
• Assembly of parts to meet drawing and other specifications.
• Must be able to paint equipment in accordance to manufacturer’s instructions.
• Understand the importance of safely handling of assemblies and the proper operation of overhead cranes and other material handling equipment.
• Provides guidance, and direction to the hourly personnel assigned to the department/shift, including but not limited to providing personnel training.

Education/Qualifications

• A high school diploma or trade school degree.
• At least three (3) years of relevant mechanical experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• The successful candidate is eager to learn and willing to be trained, has an excellent attendance record, and is self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for the majority of the day.
• Must be able to work in hot and cold environments.

Pay

$32.00 - $37.50 per hour.
