ER Technician (Part-time, Evening shift)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, basic patient care under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Provide care and cleaning of specific equipment.
• Stocking of supplies and equipment.
• Transportation of patients, supplies and equipment.
• Monitor the central station monitors.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Document rhythm strips every shift and more frequently when needed.
• Notify the Registered Nurse of any rhythm changes.
• Perform all blood specimen collection for Emergency Room patients by venipuncture, finger stick or heel stick according to policy.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification OR Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
• Relevant experience (preferred)
• BLS-AHA required

Schedule

• 3pm to 11:30pm.
• Rotational weekends Saturday and Sunday.
• 24 hours per pay period.
