ER Technician- Nazareth Hospital

Description

The Emergency Room Technician functions under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. He/she provides non-licensed direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patients. He/she assists the healthcare team by providing personal assistance to patients by caring for the patient, equipment, and supplies, and also by providing clerical and nursing care support services.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Phlebotomy proficiency preferred; successful completion of phlebotomy training within six (6) months of hire
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a clinical setting
• Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required (through American Heart Association)
