ER Registered Nurse (Part-Time Nights)

About the Role

This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Room, including assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care to ensure safety, comfort, and appropriate treatment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific and specialty-appropriate nursing care using advanced clinical skills.
• Accurately document patient information and observe physiological signs, symptoms, and behaviors.
• Propose revisions to interventions and desired outcomes.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Follow physician orders and perform lab testing, specimen collection, and infection control procedures.
• Manage admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
• Participate in care planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring compliance with legal and institutional standards.
• Assemble equipment, assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures, and perform or support treatments as needed.
• Conduct quality assessment activities, attend meetings, and perform assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• At least 2 years of full-time RN experience in ER or comparable setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• Fluent in English, both written and oral.
