About the role
Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Room, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver age-specific and specialty-appropriate care
- Accurately document medical information
- Observe and record patient signs and behaviors
- Follow physician orders
- Collect lab samples
- Adhere to infection control protocols
- Perform admission, discharge, and transfer procedures
- Assemble equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures
- Participate in quality assessment activities
- Attend staff meetings
- Perform assigned duties
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Nursing (bachelor's preferred)
- Current RN licensure
- At least 2 years of ER or comparable experience
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Fluency in English
- Compliance with state-specific background clearances
