About the role
Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Room of a small-format hospital.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Document accurately in medical records
- Monitor signs and symptoms
- Follow physician orders
- Collect lab samples
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Assemble equipment for diagnostic and treatment procedures
- Participate in quality activities and staff meetings
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current state RN licensure
- At least 2+ years of ER or comparable experience
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association (ENPC may substitute for PALS; TNCC preferred)
- Compliance with background clearance requirements
