ER Registered Nurse - Full-Time/Night Shift

About the Role

This role involves performing primary nursing functions in an Emergency Room setting, including assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care to ensure safety, comfort, and individualized treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific, developmentally appropriate nursing care using advanced clinical skills.
• Complete accurate and legible documentation in medical records.
• Monitor and record patient signs, symptoms, behaviors, and physiological status.
• Follow physician orders and participate in assessment, planning, and evaluation of care.
• Collect laboratory samples, perform tests, and adhere to infection control and aseptic procedures.
• Manage admission, discharge, and transfer procedures, and assemble equipment for diagnostic and treatment procedures.
• Perform quality assessments, attend staff meetings, and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• Minimum 2 years of ER or comparable nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; ENPC or TNCC preferred.
• Fluency in English, both written and oral communication.
• For Pennsylvania candidates: Act 33 and Act 73 clearances or ability to obtain prior to employment.
