ER/ICU Veterinary Technician (1st & 2nd Shift) - New England Veterinary Center & Cancer Center
Position Overview
Join our team as a Veterinary Technician who supports hospital operations by providing dedicated quality veterinary care and exceptional service to our patients and clients.
Responsibilities
- Triage and stabilize patients
- Place IV catheters, draw blood, run in-house diagnostics
- Maintain nursing skills
- Assist during surgery and operations
- Provide nursing care
- Assist with feeding and caring for patients
- Maintain medical supplies and equipment
- Oversee triage and discharge patients
- Maintain patient medical records
- Administer medications, CRIs, and blood products
- Calculate medical math (including constant rate infusions) and administer medications via appropriate routes and duration
- Provide clear, compassionate updates to clients
- Help maintain a clean, safe, calm ICU environment
- Have patience and empathy to address client concerns
Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year of veterinary technician experience (ER preferred but not required)
- Strong phlebotomy, catheter placement, and nursing skills
- Comfort with fast-paced, emotionally charged situations
- Kindness, teamwork, and a steady, supportive presence
Qualifications
- Experienced and/or credentialed technicians highly encouraged to apply

4 shifts per week, 1st and 2nd shift openings

$25.39—$32 USD
