About the role
The Equity Research Software, AVP role at Barclays involves driving the efficiency and advancement of research processes, generating valuable insights that optimise research outcomes for Barclays. Responsibilities
- Analyze market, sector, corporate, and economic data to develop investment theses for your coverage universe, producing best-in-class research.
- Present research views to Barclays clients through direct, face-to-face, and virtual interactions, as well as through research-hosted events and written communications.
- Engage with markets, client strategy, and other stakeholders to raise awareness of your research both to clients and internally. Prioritize interaction with the most relevant and valuable clients for your research.
- Provide insights and research views to internal clients to help them navigate financial markets and risks.
- Collaborate with the supervisory analyst, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure research is produced and delivered to clients and internal stakeholders in a compliant manner.
Requirements
- Ability to conduct detailed analysis and valuation of companies
- Proficiency in financial modeling and interpreting complex financial statements
- Deep understanding of the specific industry or sector being covered
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to effectively convey research investment recommendations to clients
Qualifications
- Experience in Software and other related tech research
- Familiarity with financial software and databases such as Bloomberg, and advanced Excel
- Ability to lead projects and mentor junior analysts
- FINRA licensing: SIE, S63, S86, S87
- CFA designation or in process a plus

Benefits
This role is located in New York, NY. It is regulated by FINRA.
Pay
Minimum Salary: $125,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
