About the role
As an Equity Research Broker/Dealers and Asset Managers AVP at Barclays, you will drive the efficiency and advancement of research processes, generating valuable insights that optimise research outcomes for Barclays. Your work will support the organisation in making informed decisions and staying ahead in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis and valuation of companies
- Proficient in financial modelling and interpreting highly detailed financial statements
- Develop investment theses for your coverage universe to produce best in class Research
- Presentation of Research views to Barclays Clients; this can be through direct, face to face and virtual interactions, Research hosted events and written communications
- Engage with Markets, Client Strategy and other stakeholders, to raise awareness of your Research both to Clients and internally
- Provide insights and Research views to internal Clients to help them navigate financial markets and risks
- Collaborate with the Supervisory Analyst, Compliance and other stakeholders to ensure Research is produced and delivered to Clients and internal stakeholders in a compliant manner
Requirements
- Ability to conduct detailed analysis and valuation of companies
- Proficiency in financial modelling and interpreting highly detailed financial statements
- Related sector experience (could include broader Financials sectors)
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to effectively convey research investment recommendations to clients
Qualifications
- Familiarity with financial software and databases such as Bloomberg, and advanced Excel
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients
- Able to lead projects and mentor junior analysts
- FINRA licensing: SIE, S63, S86, S87
- CFA designation or in process

Pay
Minimum Salary: $125,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
