About the role

As an Equity Research Airlines and Transportation AVP at Barclays, you will drive the efficiency and advancement of research processes, generating valuable insights that optimise research outcomes for Barclays. Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analysis and valuation of companies
  • Proficient in financial modelling and interpreting highly detailed financial statements
  • Collaborate with the Senior Analyst to produce comprehensive research reports and presentations
  • Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and company news to update and refine investment solutions
  • Engage with institutional clients to communicate research findings and provide strategic recommendations

Requirements

  • Ability to conduct detailed analysis and valuation of companies
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and interpreting highly detailed financial statements
  • Related Industrials experience
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to effectively convey research investment recommendations to clients

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with financial software and databases such as Bloomberg, and advanced Excel
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients
  • Ability to lead projects and mentor junior analysts
  • FINRA licensing: SIE, S63, S86, S87
  • CFA designation or in process

Pay

Minimum Salary: $125,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
