Job Description
This person will:
- Identify opportunities through deep research, rigorous analysis of company financials and market trends, and conversations with leading analysts and investors.
- Reach out to C-suite executives or report on the ground to gather insights firsthand.
- Be fluent in balance sheets, income statements, and valuation metrics, and recognize shifts in company prospects.
- Work with Wall Street professionals and turn relationships into actionable insights and fresh perspectives.
- Combine depth of Wall Street analysis with accessibility of communication, helping CNBC’s audience understand both what to buy/sell and the reasoning behind each idea.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of writing similar content at another major publication
- A passion for investing and uncovering new trends on Wall Street
- Strong journalistic writing and research skills, able to work in high-intensity environments under tight deadlines
- A collaborative approach that welcomes teamwork

- Established relationships with Wall Street investors and analysts
- Deep understanding of company fundamentals
- Past experience analyzing companies
- MBA and/or CFA credential
- Experience working in a fast-paced digital newsroom
Additional Requirements
- Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Hybrid: Minimum of three days per week in the office

Salary Range
$100,000 - $125,000 yearly
