About the role

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on semiconductor equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. Collaborate with Equipment Engineers and the area Manager/Group Leader to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and process-related issues in support of production objectives. Actively participate in area shift pass-down activities, with work priorities established based on production requirements and operational needs.

Schedule

N2 shift: Every other Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 5:30 pm – 6:00 am.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks and rebuild assemblies, with essential knowledge of hardware for chemical delivery, chemical processing, and handling for semiconductors.
  • Assist in analyzing and resolving recurring maintenance problems and perform technical servicing of semiconductor production and support equipment.
  • Participate in activities to develop, document, and improve existing semiconductor equipment maintenance procedures and systems, working from procedures, blueprints, sketches, drawings, and diagrams.
  • Interface with Senior Technicians and Engineers to support resolution of equipment-specific issues.
  • Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repair on malfunctioning equipment.
  • Recommend equipment improvements and interface with engineering as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance on Wet Etch area systems.
  • Rebuild assemblies in the Wet Etch areas of the fab.
  • Participate in ERT/Safety events.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree OR Military experience in electronics, electrical, mechanical, nuclear, or similar required.

Skills

  • Self-starter with initiative to learn and develop.
  • Able to work within established procedures and written or verbal instructions on a wide variety of technical, non-standardized, semi-routine assignments, recognizing deviations from accepted practices and taking corrective action as needed.
  • Able to work well with others and help foster strong working relationships.
