We need to output HTML fragment with sections: h3 headings for sections present: About the role? Not present. We have Position Overview (maybe "About the role"?). The description includes "Position Overview" then bullet? Actually we have "Position Overview" then details: Applications accepted from: All Persons Interested Service Line/Section: Transportation & Drainage Operations/Street Maintenance Reporting Location: 5500 McCarty Workdays & Hours: Monday – Thursday, 6:30am-4:30pm* *Subject to change
We need to decide sections: Could be "About the role" (position overview). Could be "Responsibilities" (Description Of Duties/Essential Functions). Could be "Requirements" (Minimum Requirements). Could be "Qualifications" maybe not separate. Could be "Skills" (Preferences). Could be "Benefits" (none). Could be "Pay" (Salary Information). Could be "Schedule" (Workdays & Hours). Also "Working Conditions" maybe part of responsibilities? Could be its own section? Not listed in allowed headings: we have only those headings. So we need to map content to those headings.
We must not repeat job title as heading. We must not include Job ID etc. Remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So we need to strip out the application procedures, EEO statement, etc.
We need to preserve all substantive information: position overview details, duties, requirements, preferences, working conditions, salary info, schedule.
We need to decide sections:
- About the role: could include Position Overview (Applications accepted from..., Service Line/Section..., Reporting Location..., Workdays & Hours). Also maybe mention it's a Department of Houston Public Works Emergency Management position at Tier I Level.
- Responsibilities: Description Of Duties/Essential Functions (list of duties). Use
- .
- Requirements: Minimum Requirements (Educational, Experience, License). Could be separate sub-sections? But we only have one heading "Requirements". We'll put all minimum requirements there.
- Qualifications: maybe not needed; we could skip if no distinct content.
- Skills: Preferences (Preferences shall be given to eligible candidates with a CDL or experience in operating ... Preference shall be given to eligible veteran applicants...). Also maybe "SELECTION/SKILLS TESTS REQUIRED: None However, The Department May Administer Skills Assessment Test." That's about skills tests; could be included under Skills or Requirements? Probably Skills.
- Pay: Salary Information (Pay Grade - 13). Also mention factors used in determining salary. So we include Pay section.
- Schedule: Workdays & Hours (Monday – Thursday, 6:30am-4:30pm* *Subject to change). Also maybe mention reporting location? Already in About the role.
- Benefits: none, so omit.
We also have "WORKING CONDITIONS" which is substantive; but not in allowed headings. Could we put under Responsibilities? Or maybe under a separate section not allowed? The instruction: "Use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It says e.g., implying those are examples but we should use those headings only? It says "Use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." Likely they expect us to use those headings only. So we need to fit working conditions into one of those sections, maybe Responsibilities (as part of duties) or maybe under Requirements? Probably Responsibilities includes working conditions as part of job description. We'll include a bullet under Responsibilities for working conditions. Also "This is a Department of Houston Public Works Emergency Management position at the Tier I Level." could go under About the role. Now we need to remove duplicated lines: "Prepares and maintains reports, forms, and records." appears twice; we should keep only once. Also remove application procedures, EEO, etc. Now produce HTML fragment:

We need to ensure no markdown fences, only HTML. Also ensure we didn't include any boilerplate like EEO, application procedures, etc. Check for duplicated lines: we removed duplicate "Prepares and maintains reports, forms, and records." Good. Check for any leftover boilerplate: we removed "All new and rehires must pass a pre-employment drug test..." maybe that's part of safety impact? Actually that is a generic statement; we might consider it boilerplate but it's about drug testing. The safety impact section already mentions random drug testing. The line "All new and rehires must pass a pre-employment drug test and are subject to a physical examination and verification of information provided." is generic boilerplate; we should remove it. Also "EOE - Equal Opportunity Employer ..." remove. Also "If you need special services or accommodations, call..." remove. Also "If you need login assistance or technical support call..." remove. Also "Applications must be submitted online at: www.houstontx.gov" remove. Also "Only online applications will be accepted..." remove. Also "Due to the high volume of applications received..." remove. Also "To view your detailed application status..." remove. Also "If you need login assistance..." remove. Also "If you need special services..." remove. Also "If you need login assistance..." remove. Also "All new and rehires must pass a pre-employment drug test..." remove. Also "EOE - Equal Opportunity Employer..." remove. Now ensure we kept all substantive info: Position Overview details, duties, requirements, preferences, working conditions, safety impact, pay grade, schedule. Check if any info missing: "Reporting Location: 5500 McCarty" included in About the role. "Service Line/Section: Transportation & Drainage Operations/Street Maintenance" included. "Applications accepted from: All Persons Interested" included. "Workdays & Hours: Monday – Thursday, 6:30am-4:30pm* *Subject to change" included in About the role and Schedule (maybe duplicate). We have it in both About the role and Schedule; maybe we should avoid duplication. The instruction: "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail." Duplication may be okay but better to avoid redundancy. We could put schedule only in Schedule section and not repeat in About the role. But About the role currently includes schedule; we could remove it from About the role and keep only in Schedule. However About the role also includes "Applications accepted from: All Persons Interested. Service Line/Section: Transportation & Drainage Operations/Street Maintenance. Reporting Location: 5500 McCarty." plus maybe the emergency management tier I level. That's fine. Thus adjust About the role paragraph to exclude schedule. Now schedule section will have the schedule. Now check for any other duplication: "Prepares and maintains reports, forms, and records." appears once in responsibilities bullet. Now check for any leftover boilerplate: "Selection/skills tests: None required; however, the department may administer a skills assessment test." That's from "SELECTION/SKILLS TESTS REQUIRED: None However, The Department May Administer Skills Assessment Test." Good. Now check for any mention of "Safety Impact Position: YES" we included in Skills bullet. Now check for any mention of "This is a Department of Houston Public Works Emergency Management position at the Tier I Level." we included in About the role. Now check for any mention of "May be required to have a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) based on the type of equipment the position is assigned to operate." included in Requirements. Now check for any mention of "Preference shall be given to eligible veteran applicants provided such persons possess the qualifications necessary for competent discharge of the duties involved in the position applied for
