Equipment Technician, Implant (Front End Nightshift)

About the role

This role involves performing corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance tasks on semiconductor tools to improve and sustain equipment availability, reliability, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical root cause troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals, schematics, blueprints, etc.
• Use tests and diagnostic equipment to complete equipment checks
• Work with process engineers to understand process-equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specs
• As needed, modify equipment to improve uptime or overall process performance

Requirements

• AAS in Electronics Technology or military electronics equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, schematics, and maintenance manuals
• At least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience

Pay

The posted salary range is $21.25 - $29.20. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors.

Schedule

This role requires working Front End Nights (every Sun, Mon, Tues and every other Sat; 6pm-6:15am) 12-hour shifts in support of our 24/7 operation in Marcy, NY.
