About the Role
Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring immediately for a position in Kent, WA. The role involves assisting drivers, mechanics, and customers with operations, loading, and unloading equipment for transport, ensuring equipment is clean and ready for rent, and working outdoors in the shop, branch, and yard.
Responsibilities
- Assist drivers, mechanics, and customers with equipment operations, loading, and unloading for transport.
- Operate construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Clean and prepare equipment for rental.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions across the shop, branch, and yard.
- Prioritize workplace safety and uphold Sunstate’s core safety values.
- Collaborate with team members to meet performance goals.
- Climb in and out of equipment frequently, requiring full range of motion and agility.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience operating construction equipment or related construction experience (preferred).
- Comfortable working outdoors in all elements.
- Ability to lift, climb, and maneuver in equipment.
- Strong safety orientation and teamwork mindset.

Pay
Hourly rate ranges from $21.25 to $26.60, dependent on experience. Pay is issued weekly.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Overtime eligible.
