Equipment Specification Senior Engineer

About the role

Seeking a technical professional to lead equipment implementation for new model introductions in manufacturing facilities. Utilize 3D CAD and simulation tools to identify key design points and develop specifications aligned with business strategies. Act as a project leader or subject matter expert, driving initiatives from inception through final design and assembly. Collaborate with design teams and plant personnel to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative machine concepts based on sound engineering principles.
• Serve as SME for processes and projects, supporting engineering and project leadership.
• Lead engineering efforts for midsize/large projects, ensuring timely progress.
• Conduct detailed process studies and communicate findings to design teams.
• Create specifications and scope documentation, verifying onsite during installation.
• Drive process improvements and mentor team members.
• Maintain project schedules to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Deep knowledge of 3D CAD systems and automated equipment development.
• Strong technical communication skills (written and oral).
• Ability to travel locally and internationally as needed.

Primarily office-based work with some manufacturing floor involvement. No sponsorship available for employment visas.
