Equipment Specification Senior Engineer

About the role

Join a dynamic team focused on innovation and future mobility solutions. As a multi-discipline engineer, you will introduce and implement equipment for new model launches, utilizing 3D CAD and simulation tools to define design specifications. You will lead projects from inception to final design/assembly, collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to meet quality, cost, and safety targets.

Responsibilities

• Developing optimal machine concepts based on engineering principles
• Providing technical support for equipment and processes
• Supporting external suppliers and plant resources
• Leading small to mid-sized projects from an engineering perspective
• Conducting process studies and feedback to design teams
• Creating specifications, scope documents, and schedules for project milestones
• Supporting installation and verification activities on the manufacturing floor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software and knowledge of automated equipment development
• Strong technical communication skills

Work environment

Primarily office-based with some manufacturing floor support, requiring local, regional, and international travel as needed.
