Equipment Specialist (Electronics)

Member will serve as an equipment specialist with the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division across multiple branches, programs, activities, and diverse mission disciplines. Provide technical support and establish logistics and maintenance support services for life cycle sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice in terms of oral and written briefings, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership and maintenance technicians.
• Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and technical data.
• Apply knowledge of a wide range of maintenance concepts, principles, and practices of EIT systems and/or equipment.
• Follow DoD, NSA, AFMC, AFLCMC, and Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division logistics procedures and policies.
• Implement security practices for safeguarding classified information and logistics support for standard and non-standard systems.
• Utilize knowledge of Information Assurance systems or equipment.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required.
• Position is designated special sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
• A favorable suitability determination is required before appointment.
• Position has been designated a drug testing position.
• Non-critical Acquisition Position and is covered by the APDP. Must meet or be capable of meeting DAWIA as designated on the position description with the defined grace period for the certification level after assignment.
• 6-9 years’ desired experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of a wide range of maintenance concepts, principals, and practices of EIT systems and/or equipment.
• Knowledge of DoD, NSA, AFMC, AFLCMC, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division logistics procedures and policies.
• Knowledge of security practices for safeguarding classified information and logistics support for standard and non-standard systems.

• Skill in providing technical advice through oral and written briefings, reports, and recommendations.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting engineering drawings, technical manuals, and technical data.

Pay

$90,823 - $118,072 per year.

Schedule

• Permanent position.
• Up to 25% travel.
• No telework or remote position.
