Responsibilities
- Carry out physical inspections and visual checks of diesel vehicles and equipment.
- Use diagnostic tools and computerized systems to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Interpret diagnostic test results to pinpoint the cause of malfunctions.
- Perform preventive maintenance, such as oil changes, filter and fluid checks.
- Repair or replace worn-out or damaged components, including engines, transmissions, injectors, and cooling systems.
- Address issues with critical vehicle systems like brakes, steering, and exhaust, electrical, hydraulics.
- Conduct test drives to evaluate vehicle performance and verify repairs have been successful.
- Ensure emissions control systems and other components meet federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years Heavy Equipment Repair and Diagnostics experience
- 1-3 years Heavy Equipment Maintenance and Repair experience
- 1 year of DEUTZ engine repair and diagnostics experience (preferred)
- Adhere to strict safety procedures and company policies while working.
- Use power, machine, and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
