Responsibilities
- Determine building repairs and vendors needed to ensure efficient operating buildings.
- Build and maintain relationships with above-restaurant leadership and vendors.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs and schedules for buildings, equipment, grounds, HVAC, and restaurant support systems.
- Develop and maintain a network of quality local and/or regional service providers; negotiate, review, and execute contracts.
- Define and prepare specific scopes of work for all ongoing building repairs, improvements, and equipment installation.
- Review proposals, contracts, and invoices to ensure overall accuracy and value.
- Identify current and future capital needs, and develop capital investment strategies and budget proposals.
- Place and track equipment orders.
- Provide continuous improvement ideas and implement them appropriately.
- Partner with cross-functional department initiatives and support brand research initiatives.
- Support all types of emergency situations, including damage assessments, recovery response, emergency service, and backup utility services.
- Perform general repair and maintenance of restaurant equipment.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Knowledge of facilities, vendor, and negotiation management.
- Skilled in project management principles and techniques.
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- 3 to 5 years of previous experience; specific experience in restaurant operations preferred.
- Ability to travel 50% and as needed.
