Equipment Service Coordinator | Customer Service & Dispatch Location: Columbia, MO Department/Team: Service Schedule: Monday–Friday Day Shift You're the person who keeps things moving—customers informed, technicians organized, and service calls from falling through the cracks. Hillyard, Inc. is looking for an Equipment Service Coordinator who enjoys solving problems, staying organized, and making sure customers receive the service and communication they need. If you have experience in service coordination, dispatch, customer service, scheduling, parts, or equipment service, this is an opportunity to put those skills to work in a role where communication and follow-through make a difference every day. As our Equipment Service Coordinator, you'll help coordinate service calls from the initial customer request through completion. You'll work directly with customers, service technicians, and Service leadership to schedule work, monitor repairs, assist with estimates, and keep everyone informed throughout the process. What You'll Do Enter and coordinate customer service calls for technician dispatchCommunicate with Service Technicians regarding schedules, service needs, and repair statusMonitor open service orders and follow repairs through completionAssist technicians with service repair estimates and related informationKeep customers informed about the status of their equipment and repairsPartner with Service leadership to resolve questions and keep service work movingAssist with scheduling Programmed Maintenance Agreement serviceFollow up on open items and help identify solutions when service issues arise What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who combines customer service, organization, communication, and strong follow-through. Experience in customer service, dispatch, service coordination, scheduling, or a related role preferredComfortable communicating directly with both customers and service techniciansAbility to manage multiple service requests and priorities without losing attention to detailStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent follow-up and problem-solving abilitiesStrong verbal communication and listening skillsComfortable working with computer systems to enter, track, and update service informationExperience with parts ordering or an equipment service environment is a plus Don't have equipment service experience? Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, automotive, appliance repair, transportation, field service, maintenance, or another service-based environment could translate well to this opportunity.
