Equipment Maintenance Supervisor (Weekend Shift)
Role and Responsibilities
Create and maintain a highly technical, fast-paced Equipment Maintenance Team
Create a strategy for Corrective, Preventative, and Predictive Maintenance in support of BMCD Manufacturing Operations
Advise on new equipment required to enable business growth
Evaluates systems/machines and determines maintenance or repairs that need to be performed
Work in collaboration with Engineering Leadership and Facilities Management to plan work priorities, obtain necessary permissions, and assess resources to needed to complete tasks
Prioritize work assignments and delegate tasks based on team members’ skills and experience
Create a paradigm for tracking relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (e.g. safety, cost, task completion time, etc.) and have this information available to key stakeholders (i.e. dashboards)
Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed safely, efficiently and on budget
Advise key stakeholders on technical concerns, or complicated concepts, associated with production and testing equipment
Train team members and track performance
Champion continuous improvement initiatives
Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalency required; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in facilities/maintenance management/building operations maintenance with at least 3 years of hands on supervisory/leadership experience.
- Hands on practical knowledge of the technical aspects production and facilities equipment
- In depth knowledge of systems, tools, and procedures utilized in equipment maintenance
- Knowledge of OSHA and other regulations, specifically those pertaining to work-place safety, occupational hazards, electrical safety procedures (NFPA 70E)
- Computer systems knowledge including proficiency with MS Office programs
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with Computer Programming and PLC experience (preferred)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per shift
- Occasionally lift/carry up to 25–50 lbs
- Use hands and fingers to operate machinery controls and computers throughout the shift
- Visual acuity sufficient for product inspection and reading digital/printed materials
- Hearing ability to detect alarms and communicate effectively with staff
- Ability to perform essential tasks with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in required areas (safety glasses, safety-toed boots).

Pay
$74,600.00 - $107,400.00
