Responsibilities
- Work as assigned to troubleshoot and repair “returned for repair” units or components in a manner that efficiently and effectively repairs electromechanical equipment in accordance with operational specifications and customer requirements.
- Performs with direction work requiring knowledge of equipment specifications, properties, materials and applications of the full array of hardware products offered by EMSAR.
- Complies with company and OSHA safety requirements.
- Informs and seeks advice from appropriate supervisor of atypical/unusual repair items.
- Successfully completes assigned training within specified period of time.
- Other duties, responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Requires High School diploma or GED
- Vocational diploma in electro mechanical repair or related field preferred
- 0 to 2 years experience including knowledge of electronic components and equipment including the use of instruments for diagnostic purposes
- Basic skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and visually inspect equipment
- Ability to exercise judgment in determining work sequence and in selecting proper tools and test equipment for each repair
- Ability to evaluate and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic devices
- Ability to follow detailed and defined work processes and work instructions
- Good oral and written communication
