About the role
The Equipment Repair Technician at Bridgestone HosePower, LLC is responsible for repairing and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment, providing support to branch locations, and processing requests for parts and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for field use
- Repair and recondition used equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Process outbound shipments of equipment and parts
- Move, store, and transfer materials, supplies, equipment, and vehicles
- Receive, inspect, clean, and prepare returned equipment for sale or transfer
- Order parts for equipment repairs and upfitting service trucks
- Assemble upfit orders for subcontractors
- Maintain organized materials and tools in designated locations
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Assist with repairs of equipment
- Prepare orders for customers
Requirements
- General knowledge of machinery and tools
- Team player and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow manufacturer’s instructions for repairs and maintenance
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Prior forklift operation experience
- Dependable and able to obtain a DOT medical certificate
- Attention to detail and product inspection skills
- Basic computer skills
