Equipment Processing Technician

About the role

The Equipment Processing Technician is responsible for processing and inspecting medical equipment, including disassembling and reassembling it and processing and managing the associated accessories, in a district office. The Equipment Processing Technician also is responsible for the entry of data associated with these tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process and inspect medical equipment
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment
• Process and manage associated accessories
• Enter data related to tasks
• Stay up to date on medical equipment in the fleet
• Clean and inspect medical equipment for functionality following approved procedures
• Ship and receive medical equipment and supplies
• Assist with inventory management
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior work experience in a hospital setting or customer service preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off‑hours as required
• Able to lift and/or push 75 pounds
• Able to stand for long periods of time
