Equipment Operator (Tucson, AZ)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Monitor concrete pipe machines, conveyors, mixers, feeders, and bins to maximize production and deliver high-quality products
• Work in a fast-paced outdoor production environment, playing a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and safely
• Perform pre-shift inspections of pipe machine and equipment
• Manufactures products in accordance with standard operating procedures; inspects the forming to ensure the forming is properly set up and ready for production; installs a variety of different molds and makes appropriate adjustments per operating manual prior to running machine
• Maintains automated systems to ensure product is manufactured correctly
• Strips finished product from molds and stacks in the product area utilizing overhead crane and proper lifting devices; finishes concrete according to specifications
• Cleans machine once production is completed for the day
• Assists with preventative and reactive maintenance, including changing molds, greasing equipment, replacing rollers, performing belt splices, and maintaining hoppers
• Assists with site projects as requested by management and team members
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment at the end of each shift
