About the role
The Equipment Operator at Marcella Golf Club is responsible for maintaining and operating golf course equipment to ensure optimal play conditions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate golf course equipment including mowers, trailers, and carts.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and serviced according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, oil changes, and tire repairs.
- Assist with landscaping and other groundskeeping duties as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to environmental regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in golf course maintenance or related field.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of golf course equipment and maintenance practices.
Qualifications
- Proficient in using golf course maintenance tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Excellent communication skills.
