Equipment Operator / Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Operate trucks and equipment to maintain roads, sidewalks, and utilities while performing a wide range of infrastructure repair and maintenance work. Support special events and cross-departmental projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plow, salt, and sand streets and sidewalks during winter weather
• Perform excavation, asphalt, and concrete work, and infrastructure repairs
• Maintain water/sewer systems, buildings, and grounds
• Support special events and cross-departmental projects
• Be on-call for snow removal during winter months

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record; CDL preferred
• Basic mechanical and computer skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Residency within 60 minutes of the work location
