About the role
The Equipment Operator supports cementing operations by operating and maintaining oilfield equipment while ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable service delivery. This role involves driving Class A vehicles, rigging up/down equipment at the wellsite, and working closely with field crews to support daily operations. Training will be provided for candidates with little or no industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate pneumatic trailers, silos, positive displacement pumps, and related equipment.
- Rig up and rig down iron at the wellhead.
- Connect and handle 4" hoses for water and dry product transfer.
- Drive Class A vehicles to and from field locations.
- Participate in pre-job meetings and safety briefings.
- Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting any issues or deficiencies.
- Follow all HSE policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Support field and maintenance crews as needed.
- Work a rotational schedule.
Requirements
- GED required; High School Diploma preferred.
- Valid Class A CDL preferred or ability to obtain as required.
- No oilfield experience required; training will be provided.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical work in outdoor environments.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
