Equipment Operator 2 - Goddard, KS

Overview

The Equipment Operator is responsible for operating a variety of equipment for road construction purposes. Duties include but may not be limited to, the following positions: Equipment Operator, Heavy Equipment Operator, Chip Spreader, Front End Loader, Asphalt Paver.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy construction equipment including but not limited to, chip spreaders, front end loaders, asphalt pavers, and other related machinery.
• Perform tasks such as grading, compacting, and transporting materials on construction sites.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities and resolve issues.
• Assist in maintaining equipment in good working condition and report any necessary repairs or maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
• Strong physical fitness and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
