Equipment Maintenance Technician - Thin Films B Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose the root cause, and make reliability improvement recommendations.
• Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment in accordance with maintenance specifications and repair manuals.
• Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair of equipment.
• Drive solutions and guidelines, recommending and writing maintenance procedures and specifications.
• Perform scheduled tool qualifications.
• Vendor management and coordination.
• Opportunity to provide leadership to other technicians by providing training and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Note: You must be able and willing to work Shift B- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Saturday, 7 PM -7:06 AM (15% night shift differential).
• Associate's degree or technical degree, or currently working toward a degree.
• High-level attention to detail, Methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management, Good written and verbal communication skills, Self-motivator; ability to work independently under general guidance and direction, Ability to independently learn systems and processes associated with the role, Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Preferred Experience: 2+ years of prior technician experience with Thin Films area equipment: AMAT Endura (both PVD/CVD; TxZ), AMAT Centura (HDP and DxZ), AMAT Producer (SACVD), Novellus Concept 2 (Speed, Sequel, and Altus).
• MS Excel and Word skills are a plus
