About the role

Equipment Maintenance Technicians perform preventative maintenance, electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting, and installation of various semiconductor fabrication machines and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an equipment services team in the semiconductor industry
• Support and participate in a Safety, 5s, and Standard Work culture
• Identify opportunities to continuously improve the area and factory performance
• Interact with other team members toward the solution of problems, and the fulfillment of manufacturing objectives
• Make routine decisions based on area priorities that affect production material and equipment
• Work with the shift leadership team and other maintenance technicians to drive the team's overall success
• Document maintenance performed
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science degree (A.A.S.), or technical trade school certificate preferred but not required; work experience will be considered.
• 5‑7 years of experience in an Equipment Maintenance role within the semiconductor industry.
• Familiarity with photolithography and experience with ASML PAS steppers and scanners, TwinSCAN exposure tools, ASML 5500 2x0, 3x0, 5x0, 7x0, 8x0 models, and TwinSCAN 4x0, 12x0 & 14x0 models, plus TEL Mark 8, ACT 8, Lithius tracks on a 200 mm platform.
• Extensive troubleshooting of electro‑mechanical systems.
• Capable of demonstrating analytical troubleshooting methods (Root Cause Analysis, 8D Problem Solving, 5‑why) and First Time Right repair skills.
• Physical demands: able to lift ≥50 lb, climb a ladder, work onsite ≥12 hours/day, 4 days/week; varied standing, sitting, kneeling, data entry; must wear full fab attire, meet safety and cleanroom requirements, use proper PPE, and work with electrical hazards.
