Equipment Maintenance Technician I

This entry-level position requires a hands-on approach to maintaining equipment in accordance with company standards, safety protocols, and operational requirements. The technician will work under the guidance of senior maintenance staff and supervisors to develop technical skills and gain experience in equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair all equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair programming adapters
  • Troubleshoot and repair down to component level
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Conduct hardware and software computer repairs
  • Maintain integrity in the use of company assets such as inventory, supplies, and equipment
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Demonstrate the ability to read electrical schematics and technical blueprints
  • Experience with electrical testing
  • Soldering skills
  • Able to work in a high-stress environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Great communication skills

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, or formal vocational training
  • Experience with pick and place machinery
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing robotic handlers

Pay

Annual hiring range/hourly rate: $26.00. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Schedule

  • Fully in-office: Monday–Friday, 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM
  • Must be able to work overtime when needed
  • Must be able to temporarily change shifts as needed for business needs
