Equipment Maintenance Technician (Diffusion) Night Shift

About the Role

osemi is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician (Diffusion) at our Gresham, OR site. As an Equipment Maintenance Technician at onsemi’s premier 200mm manufacturing facility, you will work in a dynamic team environment maintaining a fleet of semiconductor manufacturing equipment within the Implant process area. Your performance will directly impact the company’s strategic plan to optimize capacity and factory performance.

Shift B: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday with every other Saturday. A 15% night shift differential is added.

Responsibilities

• Complete goals that directly affect Key Performance Indicators.
• Work to improve best-known methods and other maintenance procedures.
• Identify and support continual improvement projects, including part sourcing and in-house repair.
• Build teamwork and collaboration within the group to meet the area's goals and expectations.
• Practical knowledge of the following area equipment:
  • SEMITOOL batch spray solvent tools
  • Siconnex batch spray solvent tool
  • DNS WS-820L, WS-820C, FC820L, FC821L, FC820L-2, and MEI Evolution Wet benches
  • LAM (SEZ) SP-203, 223, 4200, and Davinci single wafer cleaning tools

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or robotics Engineering or equivalent military experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Good interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Practical knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems and controls.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to recognize deviations from normal operation as they develop.
• Understands and supports the 5S process.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Semiconductor experience.
• Knowledge of the Wet and Solvent areas, including general process theory and equipment mechanics.
• Strong mechanical skills.
