About the role
Join a dynamic team at onsemi's premier 200mm manufacturing facility in Gresham, OR as an Equipment Maintenance Technician (CMP). You will perform preventive, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance on a variety of innovative semiconductor manufacturing tools, working alongside a world-class team on a diverse set of tools.
Responsibilities
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose root causes, and make reliability improvement recommendations.
- Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment according to maintenance specifications and repair manuals.
- Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair of equipment.
- Drive solutions and guidelines by recommending and writing maintenance procedures and specifications.
- Perform scheduled tool qualifications.
- Vendor management and coordination.
- Provide leadership to other technicians through training and mentoring.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work B shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Saturday, 7 PM - 7:06 AM (includes an additional 15% night shift differential).
- High-level attention to detail.
- Methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivator; ability to work independently under general guidance and direction.
- Ability to independently learn systems and processes associated with the role.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in constrained spaces and awkward positions.
- Ability to apply force and full exertion.
Qualifications
Preferred:
- Associate/technical degree or currently working towards a degree.
- 5+ years of prior technician experience.
- CMP area equipment experience: AMAT Mirra/OnTrak, AMAT Mirra/Mesa, IPEC 776/7700, and IPEC Momentum/OnTrak.
- MS Excel and Word skills are a plus.
Schedule
B shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Saturday, 7 PM - 7:06 AM (includes an additional 15% night shift differential).
