What To Expect

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational availability of a wide array of manufacturing equipment, such as Molten Metal Furnaces and High Pressure Die Casting Machines. You will apply your technical skills to install, maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems, factory automation and robotics.

What You'll Do

  • Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all industrial production and mechatronics equipment
  • Perform repairs on production-down equipment
  • Operate and repair every cell on a Line
  • Perform Corrective Maintenance repairs on more than one of these types of equipment
  • Experience with electrical systems ranging from 24 VDC to 480 VAC 3 phase, mechanical systems, conveyor systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC, networks and robotics
  • Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogues and suppliers, or obtain them from storerooms
  • Ability to work off-shifts, as needed

What You'll Bring

  • Experience working in a maintenance capacity on production manufacturing equipment and/or have equivalent training or relevant education
  • Verbal and written communication skills (able to understand and record maintenance procedures, shift pass downs, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills (able to use basic PC applications to report issues and provide inputs)
  • Good mechanical and electrical knowledge (understand typical mechanisms and wiring associated with equipment)
  • Command of the English language, both written and verbal

Essential Physical Demands

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day
  • Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
  • Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach to install parts
  • Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours/day
  • Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures
  • Find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing
  • Potential exposure to confined spaces, elevated heat and hazardous materials
  • Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, arm protection, hearing protection and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines

Expected Compensation

The expected compensation is $32.00 - $48.27/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
